“I can seeya as the basketball playing type. When I was growing up, my dad would show me the ropes for baseball. It’s been a long time since I’ve last played ball.” He took another bite from his cake and let out a soft sigh. “I guess so.” Jake reached for his soda, taking back a sip of it and stared down at his plate. The cake was still delicious but he was a little sad that there were only a few bites of it left. “I could dress differently but it’s the most casual thing that I own in my wardrobe aside from pajamas and sweatpants. I usually wear my suits and ties to work and seminars.” So proper.
Jake finished up his cake with a happy sigh. His eyes glanced up at Norman and he smiled back, shaking his head. “No… not really…” he murmured. “What should I do next?”
Norman shook his head at Jake and looked at the boy. “We need to get you casual wear Jake. As good as you look in a suit, we need to get you normal people clothes.” Norman chuckled and finished up his piece of cake and then finished up his drink. He could eat fast at times, not that he normally had too, but he was talking, so he wanted to have time to talk and not have the cake just sit there and get stall.
“What pj’s do you have?” He was curious if Jake had any super hero’s or not, he wanted to make sure before he bought the other anything. “What’s your favorite color?” He was being obvious, but at the same time, it was already the boys birthday, so Jake could probably forget by the time Christmas was here.
