I have a question…

“Last time I told someone I liked them… they didn’t like me back,” Jake spoke out. “It’s nerve-wrecking, yes. But - you didn’t laugh in my face for it, making me feel like it’s nothing at all with what I feel.” He shook his head and sighed, deciding not to go on about what happened a few years ago. Instead Jake smiled back at Norman, agreeing, “You’re very understanding ‘bout this.” He gave the other man a quick hug before pulling back again, keeping himself quiet and unsure about what to do. Jake wondered a little about what this was between the two of them, sighing while in thought.

Norman cupped the other’s chin and pulled Jake in close to him and pressed his lips to the other’s. He never moved his hand, and had his other hand placed behind Jake, right on the curve of the other’s back. He wanted to make sure Jake didn’t leave this time. He still wasn’t sure what he wanted to be with Jake, he would admit he liked Jake, a lot, but the moment still hurt. He was trying, he was trying to push passed it, even when he’s had so many other’s hurt him. He knew that his little block to stop himself from being hurt was in the way, and was kind of hoping that Jake would catch onto that, but he wasn’t, sadly. So he had to try and push himself passed the issue, hopefully.
